Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare in Brookline, MA is seeking an exceptional Speech-Language Pathologist to join our ground-floor team for home-based visits across Greater Boston.

You will conduct initial evaluations, develop plans of care, address speech, voice, and swallowing disorders, and reassess progress while coordinating with physicians. Flexible schedule and per-visit pay are available.

Qualifications

• Active MA SLP license in good standing.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• 1+ year of home health or acute care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial speech-language evaluations and develop plans of care.
• Provide skilled SLP services addressing speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing in home settings.
• Select, administer, and interpret evaluation tools; modify treatment as patient needs evolve.
• Reassess patient progress and update plans of care.
• Complete Medicare/ACHC compliant documentation; consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment.

The Opportunity

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct initial speech-language evaluations and develop individualized plans of care under physician orders
• Provide skilled SLP services addressing speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in the home setting
• Select, administer, and interpret appropriate evaluation tools; modify treatment as patient needs evolve
• Reassess patient progress at appropriate intervals and update plans of care
• Complete documentation accurately and on time in compliance with Medicare and ACHC standards; consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment

What we’re looking for:

• Active Massachusetts SLP license in good standing
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• 1+ year of home health or acute care experience preferred; strong candidates with medical SLP backgrounds considered
• Familiarity with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders in a post-acute population
• Reliable transportation, valid MA driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Available for at least 2–4 visits per week (flexible on timing)
