Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare – Greater Boston is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our ground-floor team in home health. Conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and provide SLP services in patients' homes across the Boston metro area.

We offer true flexibility with no quotas, published per-visit pay, travel reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement. MA licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, 1+ year home health experience encouraged, and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license in good standing.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• 1+ year of home health or acute care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Reliable transportation with MA driver's license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial speech-language evaluations and develop plans of care under physician orders.
• Provide skilled SLP services addressing speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing in home settings.
• Select, administer, and interpret evaluation tools; adjust treatment as patient needs evolve.
• Reassess patient progress and update plans of care at appropriate intervals.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time in compliance with Medicare/ACHC; consult with physicians as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide skilled SLP services addressing speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in the home setting
• Select, administer, and interpret appropriate evaluation tools; modify treatment as patient needs evolve
• Reassess patient progress at appropriate intervals and update plans of care
• Complete documentation accurately and on time in compliance with Medicare and ACHC standards; consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment

What we’re looking for:

• Active Massachusetts SLP license in good standing
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• 1+ year of home health or acute care experience preferred; strong candidates with medical SLP backgrounds considered
• Familiarity with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders in a post-acute population
• Reliable transportation, valid MA driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Available for at least 2–4 visits per week (flexible on timing)
