Job summary
Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team in Dallas, delivering patient-centered care in SNF settings. The SLP will assess swallowing and cognitive issues, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide AAC strategies to residents with expressive or language challenges.
Responsibilities include collaborating with other professionals, training families and staff, and ensuring proper documentation and billing.
Qualifications
- Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current ASHA Certification.
- In good standing with licensing boards.
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
- Provide AAC systems for severe expressive and/or language disorders.
- Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
- Provide training to residents, families, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
