Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System in Newark, DE, is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to support inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings. The role focuses on adult assessments and treatment, with a patient-family centered approach and an emphasis on collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum two weekend days per month, with potential extra weekday/weekend shifts. Requires Master’s in SLP, Delaware licensure eligibility, CCC or CF, CPR, and acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames.
• Provide patient and family education and training.
