Coal County General Hospital in Coalgate, OK is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN/Per Diem) to evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and staff. Per diem status requires flexibility to cover varying shifts and weekends as needed.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required.
• Oklahoma licensure as an SLP required.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical experience in acute care, swing bed, or LTC preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on findings and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy and other providers for coordinated care.
• Serve patients across acute and swing bed populations and participate in discharge planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies, HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain licensure and certifications as required.
