Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Sonographer at Henrietta Medical Campus to perform a range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and neurovascular studies. Qualifications

• Required Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate OR Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound for all new hires.
• RDMS certification may be required at sites with ACR accreditation; Neurovascular & vascular roles may not require it.

Responsabilités

• Performs abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN and/or transcranial Doppler ultrasound scans.
• Produces images and measurements using various imaging techniques per physician direction.
• Reviews patient history, orders and clinical appropriateness.
• Notes scan in patient chart and completes preliminary reporting.
• Calls preliminary reports to doctors or nursing floors as requested by Radiologist.
• Assists with invasive procedures under sonographic guidance.
• Cleans, stocks and prepares rooms daily.
• Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Provide high-quality patient care with exceptional service and compassion.
• Attend CME to maintain registry.
• Act as a preceptor for ultrasound students and orientation of new staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
