Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist for a per diem role in Renton, WA. The position involves operating ultrasound scanners to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care and adherence to radiology standards.

Responsibilities include performing routine and advanced imaging, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining accuracy in RIS records. Per diem shifts will vary, offering flexible scheduling and the chance to join a leading radiology provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited sonography program or CAAHEP accreditation.
• Registered ARDMS in good standing; current certification in imaging specialty (AB, BR, OB/GYN, etc.).
• Licensed Sonographer in the appropriate state (if applicable).
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced sonography imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters as needed and follow physicians' orders.
• Maintain RIS records and comply with safety regulations.
