Qualifications

• WA: If not licensed as a social worker, Agency Affiliated Counselor credential required for state-specific compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical social services under the direction of a physician and Interdisciplinary Group.
• Assist in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health status.
• Develop coping mechanisms and support for patients and families.
