Job summary

Pearl Pointe is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at our Freeport, Illinois location. In this as-needed role, you will assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with licensed therapists and medical staff to support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with licensed therapists, physicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify patients' needs and develop treatment plans
• Implement and modify speech and language therapy interventions to meet patients' needs
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology
