Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

This role requires at least 1 year of acute care experience, a Master’s in Speech Therapy, NH licensure (SLP), and CCC-SLP; weekend coverage and a minimum of 12 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• NH license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required (SLP).
• CCC-SLP certification required; CCC-A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement treatments using multiple techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes.
