Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Simulated Patient (Per Diem) to support NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY. The position offers a per diem hourly rate ($30) and requires a High School Diploma; prior simulated patient experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Learn, memorize assigned patient cases including medical and social history.
• Collaborate with simulation faculty to ensure accurate portrayal of scenarios.
• Present required history per scripting: PMH, psychiatric, current, family, social.
• Portray diverse backgrounds authentically and without bias.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment with respect to identities.
• Engage learners in realistic clinical encounters and feedback sessions.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout interactions.
• Adhere to guidelines and objectives for each simulation.
• Provide constructive feedback on learner performance and reasoning.
• Complete evaluation forms to assist faculty in assessments.
• Collaborate to design and refine case descriptions and scenarios.
• Participate in training to stay updated on simulation methods.
• Maintain accurate records of encounters and feedback.
• Receive and act on ongoing supervisor feedback.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions as required.
• Support course delivery by staging rooms, greeting learners, and facilitating discussions.
• Hours may vary; full-day simulations run 9–10 hours.
• Simulated Patients may work across NYC Health + Hospitals facilities.
