Job summary

Primary Vascular Care seeks an experienced Per Diem Sedation RN to assist with vascular procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate administers and monitors moderate sedation, assesses vital signs, and collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

The role offers flexible scheduling and requires an active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification, plus experience in procedural or interventional settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor moderate sedation for vascular procedures.
• Continuously assess vitals, airway, and consciousness during procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures including IV placement and pre-procedural assessment.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort before, during, and after sedation.
• Document sedation meds and monitoring data per guidelines.
• Ensure emergency equipment and monitoring devices are ready before procedures.
• Assist procedural team while maintaining sterile technique.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and staff for efficient workflow.
• Monitor recovery and discharge patients safely.
