The Luskin Orthopedic Institute for Children, located in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Security Officer – Per Diem to support patient safety and campus security. The role is on-call and paid hourly for time worked, with no guaranteed hours or benefits.

Responsibilities include patient and staff protection, access control, and timely incident reporting. Requires HS diploma, active California security card, and 2 years of related experience. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BSIS California Security Guard Card required.
• Minimum 2 years of related security experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, assist with directions and access control, and report policy violations or unusual conditions.
• Complete incident reports, activity logs, and required documentation accurately.
