Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Per Diem Substitute/Per Diem Sub Paraprofessional to support students with special needs under the supervision of a certified teacher. Requirements include a minimum of 60 college credits or a passing ParaPro Assessment. The position is District location with a daily rate of $125, 2026-2027 school year, with availability

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assists students before, during, and after the school day.
• Escorts students between bus and classroom.
• Reinforces personal, social, behavioral, and academic goals; assists with self-care tasks.
• Escort to restrooms; diapering/toileting may be required.
• Support classroom management with positive behavioral supports.
• Provide prompting, cueing, modeling, and coaching to aid participation.
• Promote independence; fade supports as students gain competence.
• Facilitate use of Assistive Technology.
• Maintain a safe learning environment in all settings.
• Attend professional development.
• Accompany teacher/administrator in extracurricular activities.
• Observe students and provide data/input as required.
• Communicate with Child Study Team.
• Review IEPs with Child Study Team.
• Provide minor clerical assistance to staff.
• Accept field trips and before/after school assignments if available.
• Maintain confidentiality of students.
• Perform other related duties as required.
