Job summary

St. Paul’s School seeks a registered nurse in our health center to work on a per diem schedule. This is an academic-year, non-exempt staff position, with shifts including evenings, nights and weekends.

The nurse will provide quality care to students in outpatient and inpatient settings, perform physical assessments, triage, administer medications and vaccines, and maintain detailed documentation in the EMR. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience with adolescents or school nursing is a plus.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform thorough physical assessments and triage students during shifts.
• Administer medications and vaccines, and manage medications safely.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, NP, Nursing Coordinator, and Counselors.
• Document in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care and the implementation of nursing protocols.
• Medication reconciliation, scanning, and restocking duties.
