The Beacon City School District seeks motivated individuals to join our team as Per Diem School Monitors.

Position Overview

This work involves supervising and monitoring school–age children to maintain order and discipline throughout the school environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring hallways
• Issuing passes
• Assisting with student supervision
• Addressing behavioral issues under the direction of school administration

Schedule & Appointment

• Flexible work schedule tailored to district needs and the employee’s availability
• 6.5‑hour workday based on the school schedule, including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch (6 paid hours per day)
• Appointment through June 30, 2027
• Opportunities exist for employees with strong performance to move into roles with more consistent schedules
