Job summary

Manchester Regional High School in Passaic County is seeking a Substitute School Bus Driver per diem to ensure safe transportation of students and staff on designated routes and field trips. CDL B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensing: CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience as a school district bus driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a school bus on designated routes on school days.
• Transport students and staff on field trips and activities.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and keep bus clean and fueled.
• Ensure communication devices are working and report deficiencies.
• Maintain discipline and safety according to district policies.
