Job summary

Effective School Solutions is seeking a per diem Licensed School-Based Mental Health Clinician to support Johnstown/Ligonier schools. The role offers flexible shifts and no guaranteed full-time schedule, with coverage for leave assignments as needed.

You will provide school-based mental health services, including individual, group, and family therapy, risk assessments, and collaboration with families and school staff to support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Active clinical license in state of practice (LCSW/LPC/LMFT).
• 4+ years experience with children/adolescents with behavioral and emotional needs.
• Experience training educational professionals and parents on student mental health issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based individual, group, and family therapy, plus intake and assessments.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to support students.
• Collaborate with families and school staff to deliver coordinated care.
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
• Oversee daily clinical operations of the school-based program.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development.
