Job summary

Kern Medical Surgery Center in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse per diem for the Surgery Center. The RN will provide direct patient care across pre-op, OR, and PACU and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient treatment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, an active CA RN license, and BLS certification. Bilingual Tier I certification is preferred to assist a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active California RN license.
• BSN preferred but ADN acceptable with license.
• BLS certification required; bilingual Tier I preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in pre-op, OR, and PACU.
• Coordinates with team to implement individualized plans of care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to infection control policies.
