Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on a nursing unit under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. You will provide high-quality nursing care and supervision to ensure patient needs are met in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes supervising non-RN staff, acting as Charge Nurse, coordinating chemotherapy care, and educating patients and families while maintaining safety standards and device access.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bsn preferred.
• Must have ability to use computer software including electronic patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Develops and documents a plan of care with patient, family and healthcare team.
