Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float pool on the 3rd shift as a Per Diem role in Woodstock, VA. The RN will perform the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while ensuring quality, safety, and effective communication with the care team.

Qualified applicants will have an RN license in Virginia, an RN diploma/ASN/ADN, BLS certification, and at least two years of RN experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience required.
• Education: Associate degree in nursing (RN) required; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in Virginia; BLS certification required; HCP/AHA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide care according to the nursing process: assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care with the health team; participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Lead unit activities as applicable; participate in professional practice and departmental initiatives.
• Ensure ongoing patient education and communication with patients and families.
