Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, invites qualified RNs to join our multi-specialty team at one of our 40+ Houston-area locations. The Per Diem RN I will provide direct nursing care and support patient safety and comfort in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements include Texas RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of RN experience with travel within the region. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and flexible scheduling, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 1+ years of RN work experience or equivalent.
• Ability to travel within a region.
• CPR, oxygen administration and IV therapy knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care according to clinical standards and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Attend to shifts as scheduled, including holidays and winter holiday coverage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Per Diem RN I is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
• Five shifts per month, three shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with minimum of one shift related to a winter holiday

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
• Valid and current Texas RN license
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• 1+ years of RN work experience or experience as a KSC RN and the new grad's hiring department will provide direct supervision for 6+ months and participate in the new grad preceptoring program
• Ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
• CRT experience
• Ability to travel within a selected region

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in nursing
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
• ACLS
• Windows bases computer skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
