Responsibilities

The Per Diem RN II is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.

  • Salary Range: $47.99 - $48.01 (based on education, experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience
  • Required: 3 years of RN experience
Licenses
  • Required: Valid and current Texas RN license
Skills
  • Required: Ability to operate equipment and supplies for patient care, CPR, oxygen administration, intravenous therapy, CRT experience
  • Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to the assigned area, Windows-based computer skills
Other Requirements
  • Required: Current BLS through American Heart Association, 5 shifts per month, availability for shifts around holidays, ability to travel within region
  • Preferred: ACLS certification
