Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Per-Diem House Supervisor RN to manage departmental services on shift and ensure efficient patient flow. The role requires leadership over on-site staff and collaboration with medical teams to maintain care quality.

Qualifications include active RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and prior supervisory or acute care experience. A BSN is preferred, with compensation and benefits described in the hospital’s Total Rewards

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• One year prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume administrative responsibility for department service functions on shift.
• Monitor delivery of care and patient flow; direct patient care as needed.
• Supervise staff house-wide and coordinate with hospital administration when needed.
• Assist with scheduling after-hours procedures and standby staff.
• Enhance patient/family experience through clear explanations of hospital policies.
