Job summary
Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care in non-acute settings under nursing leadership. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, care coordination, and inter-disciplinary collaboration.
Shifts are per diem with Monday–Friday availability, covering regional offices across Connecticut. Experience with phlebotomy is required; CT RN licensure and BLS certification are mandatory.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing; BSN, preferred.
- Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care within a non-acute setting in collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team.
- Coordinates and provides holistic patient-centered care.
- Uses evidence-based practice to ensure safe, high-quality care and customer service.
- Supports research utilization through inquiry into evidence-based practices.
- Evaluates and revises the plan of care with the inter-disciplinary team.
- Documents problems and outcomes based on the care plan.
- This role requires regional office coverage and collaboration across teams.
