Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking an RN Case Manager on a per diem, part‑time basis at our Main Campus in Palm Beach County. The RN will lead an interdisciplinary team, coordinate care, and ensure appropriate admission status.

Strong communication with physicians, nurses, insurers, and discharge planners is essential. Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BLS, 3 years acute care experience, and knowledge of admission criteria such as InterQual/Milliman.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida (Florida RN)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• 3 years acute health care nursing experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, case management staff, physicians, insurance providers, transportation services, and peers
• Critical thinking and decisive judgment
• Ability to work with deadlines and multiple tasks
• Knowledge of InterQual or Milliman admission criteria
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary team in patient care coordination.
• Interact with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, insurance providers and others via phone and in person.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient needs and services.
• Coordinate utilization review activities to ensure payer compliance.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives related to patient care.
