Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing.
• Working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Resolve accounts receivable for IU Health entities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provider enrollment, charge description master and fee schedule maintenance.
• Submit claims and perform third party follow up.
• Post cash postings and manage denial appeal and recovery.
• Support audit defense and recovery activities and patient collections as needed.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in support of operational goals.
