Job summary

Good Shepherd Health & Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, OH is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. You will provide life-saving respiratory care to a diverse patient population and collaborate with a dedicated care team to improve outcomes.

You will manage ventilation and oxygen therapy, perform patient assessments, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, and carefully document care to support quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current RRT/ CRT/SRT.
• Active State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and bronchodilators
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
