Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist for per diem roles in Southern Massachusetts facilities. You will deliver high-quality respiratory care and work closely with a skilled team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating cardiopulmonary status, administering therapies, equipment checks, monitoring responses, patient education, and compliant documentation per policy; MA license is required and prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license in good standing required.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• English literacy and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work scheduled hours as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary evaluations and administer therapies per physician orders.
• Select and validate appropriate respiratory equipment.
• Provide respiratory care to residents with acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor responses to treatments and report changes per policy.
• Educate residents and families on equipment use and care.
• Collect blood samples and perform/analyze blood gas testing as allowed.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy.
