Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA, is seeking an Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner for Per Diem, 12-hour, variable shifts. Join a hospital with a long-standing community presence and a commitment to patient-focused care.

You will provide respiratory therapy in non-critical and adult ICU areas, perform blood gas analysis, supervise students, and follow Medical Staff policies. California license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides Respiratory Therapy in non-critical areas and all adult critical care areas.
• Draws, analyzes, and interprets blood gases.
• Supervises Respiratory Care Students and follows department policies.
