Job summary

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS), seeks Per Diem Residential Counselors to work in a 24-hour congregate setting in Staten Island.

Residential Counselors provide support to clients living with Serious Mental Illness, act as a liaison to other services, perform environmental assessments, and escort clients to appointments, in line with Office of Mental Health regulations and CCCS/BOH policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred
• Two years of Case Management experience, preferably with SMI population

RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS), is currently seeking Per Diem Residential Counselors to work in a 24-hour congregate setting in Staten Island.

Residential Counselors provide support services to clients living with Serious Mental Illness and in various stages of recovery. The Residential Counselor serves as a liaison for all other services required by clients, performs environmental assessments, and escorts clients to appointments. Performs work in accordance with Office of Mental Health regulations for Licensed Housing as well as CCCS and BOH Policies and Procedures.

This is a non-exempt hourly position paying $20 an hour located at 777 Seaview Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's preferred
• Two years of Case Management experience, preferably with SMI population
