Job summary

Optum Behavioral Care, part of the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Virtual Therapist to join our Omaha, NE team. You’ll provide remote behavioral services using evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities include delivering remote care, monitoring progress, coordinating resources, documenting sessions, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. This role offers flexible remote work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Current, active and unrestricted license in the state of Nebraska (LIMHP/LMHP).
• Ability to maintain a consistent minimum of 10 hours a week, and a maximum of 19 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote measurement-informed care through evidence-based models of treatment.
• Monitor participant progress, follow-up communications and care coordination, document session notes.
• Identify and respond to high-risk participant encounters per policy and protocols.
