• Demonstrate concise oral and written communication skills with rehab staff, facility staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrate regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Rehabilitation Staff with patient-related activities in accordance with state licensure and Practice Acts mandates.
• Assist with specific treatment activities assigned by the treating therapist.
• Transport patients to and from rehabilitation for scheduled treatment and assist with transfers.
• Prepare patient for therapy as directed by supervising therapist.
• Help modify patient equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as necessary.
• Report patient response to treatment and changes in medical status to supervising therapist.
