A leading healthcare provider is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to support patient care and ensure high-quality imaging. The role includes preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and documenting findings. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and experience in a healthcare setting.
One full 8 hours (Wednesdays or Thursdays) or two 4-hour days (Wednesday and Thursday).
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Responsible for the operation and quality control of the ultrasound equipment in accordance with the FMC policies, procedures and training. Utilizing specialized ultrasonic equipment to detect abnormalities in specific areas or angles of the body.

Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff and physicians. The position requires travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Travel to Regional, Divisional and Corporate meetings may be required.
The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
EDUCATION :
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ultrasound Certification (either listed below)
