Job summary

IHA in Michigan is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to float between Grand Rapids and Muskegon. This 36-hour-per-week role offers day and night shifts at Trinity Health Grand Rapids, with ASAP start and premium pay. Flexible scheduling and travel/per diem opportunities may apply.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care across units, collaborating with hospital staff to ensure quality patient outcomes. This is a FirstChoice staffing assignment within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2 years of experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS/TNCC/PALS); BLS/ACLS/PALS through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvements.
• Adapt to new ideas and manage competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
