The HOPE Center in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our psychiatric health facility. The RN will document patient information, collaborate with the health team, and participate in care planning to meet individualized patient needs.

The Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the HOPE Center, is a newly constructed, state of the art, 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.

The HOPE Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the team! The Registered Nurse is a professional who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and best practices.
Schedule: Per Diem
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; Associate degree Required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a psychiatric health capacity. Preferred three (3) years working in a psychiatric health care facility.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training (provided in-house), including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must demonstrate medication administration skills and complete nursing competencies skills checklist.
