Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Washington state is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to perform comprehensive patient and family assessments, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate hospice services across Snohomish County. You will work with interdisciplinary team to deliver dignified end-of-life care.

The role requires strong assessment skills, nursing process expertise, ability to travel within the Bristol Hospice service area and engage patients and families in planning their care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington state.
• Experience with nursing assessment and care planning.
• Ability to travel across the Bristol Hospice service area.
• Familiarity with hospice philosophy and end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Develop, implement and revise plans of care using the nursing process.
• Record pain and symptom management and communicate changes to physicians.
• Educate patient and family on self-care techniques and care planning.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality hospice care.
