Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Hamilton, NJ is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem/PRN basis. This flexible opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN, including a retired or semi-retired nurse with an active NJ RN license, and no guaranteed weekly hours.

Responsibilities include in-home client assessments, care-plan development, supervisory visits, nursing documentation, and collaboration with clients, families, and management.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience caring for seniors in home settings preferred.
• Home care, geriatrics, rehab, or case management experience preferred.
• Assessment and care-plan experience strongly preferred.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Flexible to conduct client assessments as needs arise.

Pay: $40–$50/hour equivalent / Per-Visit Pay

Assisting Hands Home Care – Hamilton is looking for a dependable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem/PRN basis.

This is a flexible opportunity ideal for an experienced RN, including a retired or semi-retired nurse with an active NJ RN license, looking for meaningful supplemental work without a set weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial in-home client assessments
• Develop and update client plans of care
• Complete periodic supervisory/reassessment visits
• Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and agency management
• Assist with occasional caregiver orientation and quarterly training
• Complete required nursing documentation and quality-assurance activities

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey RN license
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Home care, home health, geriatrics, rehabilitation, long-term care, or case management experience preferred
• Assessment and care-plan experience strongly preferred
• Dependable, organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently
• Flexibility to complete client assessments as needs arise

Schedule & Compensation

This is a per diem position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Assignments are offered based on client needs and RN availability.

Compensation may be hourly or per visit depending on the assignment, including client assessments, supervisory visits, care-plan reviews, and occasional training.
