Job summary

Nursa in Portland, Oregon is seeking experienced registered nurses for per diem shifts across hospitals, LTCs, SNFs, and other facilities. As an RN, you will assess patients, administer medications, coordinate care, and document in EMR/EHR systems.

You’ll work 12-hour shifts, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure HIPAA-compliant care while educating patients and families. Training and quick-start resources are provided through Nursa's platform to support fast placements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Recent nursing experience preferred; 2–3 years for high-acuity settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication.
• Ability to provide compassionate care across varied facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition, record vitals, medical history, and exams.
• Monitor and report changes using EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan and coordinate care.
• Supervise licensed practical/vocational staff as needed.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as prescribed.
• Document safety events and ensure HIPAA compliance.
