St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, part of St. Joseph's Health, is seeking a registered nurse to provide care using the Nursing Process on a designated unit in Wayne, NJ.

The RN collaborates with the Department of Nursing to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with scope of practice. Required NJ RN licensure, BLS at hire, and preferred BSN; ACLS and PALS through the American Heart Association are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure required by the State of New Jersey.
• BLS required at time of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required via the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.
