Lifeline Vascular Care is seeking a qualified Per Diem Registered Nurse for its Vascular Access Center in Aurora, CO. The RN will support vascular access procedures, monitor patients, and collaborate with the interventionist team to provide high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of RN experience, ACLS certification, and IR/Cath Lab exposure. Per diem role with daytime hours and a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovery room patient care after vascular access procedures

• Maintain clear and accurate patient records
• Communicate with dialysis facilities to monitor post-care
• Participate in community education programs
• Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies
• Assist in scheduling patients and transport within center
• Participate in community education activities for Access Center

Lifeline Vascular Care works with premier physician practices to develop and manage outpatient centers that provide focused and coordinated vascular access procedures to patients receiving hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Per Diem Registered Nurse

We are seeking a qualified RN for immediate placement in our Vascular Access Center, located Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in general diagnostic, and special procedures, cardiac catheterization; experience in IR and Cath Lab is a plus.

The Registered Nurse will provide ongoing patient information to the interventionist and clinical team during procedures to deliver vascular access care to the patient including but not limited to cardiac monitoring, aldrete score, pain status. Monitor patient vitals (HR, BP, O2Sat, EKG) during procedures. This is a challenging, fast-pace job. Access Center hours Monday - Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in recovery room patient care following vascular access procedures
• Gather patient clinical information prior to procedures including patient assessments and patient history
• Maintain up-to-date narcotic drug log
• Maintain clear and accurate patient medical records
• Communicate with dialysis facilities to monitor post-care as directed by center manager
• Participate in access center community education programs
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
• Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center
• Participate in community education activities regarding the Access Center

Experience

• ACLS certification
• Registered Nurse : 2 years (Preferred)
• Scrub: 1 year (Preferred)
• IR/Cath Lab/OR experience (Preferred)

Position Requirements

• 2 years’ RN experience preferably in dialysis, critical care, medical/surgical or ambulatory surgery
• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Works with others in a cooperative and supportive manner
• Displays patience and compassion in all patient interactions
