Responsibilities:

• Provides feedback to weekly menus provided by group homes.
• Implements personalized age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition to consumers.
• Completes annual assessments of consumers’ weight and BMI.
• Provides consultation to consumers as needed. Provides education/training to staff.
• Collaborates with nursing staff regarding consumer diets (e.g., those on choking precautions).
• Collaborates with nursing staff regarding consumers’ health/medical issues.
• Reviews food inventory in the group homes.
• Provides feedback regarding consumers’ personal food shopping.

Qualifications:

• BS in Nutrition and registered Dietitian.
• Experience with psychiatric population preferred.

Locations: Morris Plains, New Jersey & Bergen County, New Jersey

Employment Type: Per-Diem

Pay: $70.00 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, Flexible Days/Times, Max 5 hours per week
