Arnot Health is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team on a per diem basis. In this role, you’ll provide critical diagnostic imaging services that support timely diagnosis and treatment for patients across all age groups. This is an excellent opportunity for technologists looking to maintain flexibility while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:

  • Perform diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and portable radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians

  • Utilize PACS to process digital images

  • Ensure patient safety with proper radiation protection and positioning

  • Maintain sterile techniques for applicable procedures

  • Operate portable imaging equipment in sterile and non-sterile environments

  • Supervise and mentor Radiologic Technology students

  • Deliver age-appropriate care to neonates through geriatric patients

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Credentials:

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and equipment operation

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced or emergent situations

  • Willingness to rotate within the department and maintain cleanliness/order

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing/walking for extended periods (over 90% of the time)

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Pushing and maneuvering stretchers, beds, and portable x-ray equipment
