Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations and related procedures at the Bristol, CT campus on a per diem basis. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist our radiologists with advanced procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, CT or Mammography certification (or registry eligible), and a commitment to safety and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School and 2 years accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered and CT or Mammography certification highly recommended.
• Registered or registry eligible.
• General orientation at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations and prepares patients for imaging.
• Ensures proper positioning and safety for all procedures.
• Operates radiology equipment and maintains image quality and documentation.
• Assists radiologists with complex procedures as needed.
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
• Participates in emergency coverage when required.
