Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program. If degree is not yet complete, candidates may be selected contingent on completing a degree program within 90 days of hire.
  • Licensed radiologic technologist with RT(R) credentials or eligible and plan to register within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and PROTOCOLS; troubleshoot equipment and protocols.
  • Verify patient identity and examination requests; manage imaging and documentation in RIS/PACS/HIS.
  • Perform routine radiology procedures and ensure timely, high-quality images.
  • Review orders and patient data; maintain safe work environment and report improvement opportunities.
  • Use RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS to access and document procedure status and transmit results.
  • Assess patient condition, provide care, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety.
