Job summary

UNC Health is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Smithfield, North Carolina. You will conduct tests using radiology equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety while accommodating variable needs, mainly during nights and weekends.

The ideal candidate should possess an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences and be registered or registry-eligible. A certification in Basic Life Support is also required. This per diem role offers compensation between $26.85 and $38.61 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry-eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment.
• Prepare for intricate radiographic procedures and assist the radiologist.
• Perform patient assessments and ensure quality of images.
