Job summary

Atlantic Health’s AMG Orthopedics is seeking a per diem Radiographer to provide coverage in the New Providence and Clark locations. The role involves performing diagnostic radiologic procedures, reviewing requisitions, and ensuring patient history is recorded with precise positioning and accuracy.

Qualified candidates hold an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program, NJ license, ARRT certification, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program graduate required.
• Experience in Orthopedics and EPIC EMR familiarity preferred.
• NJ State License and ARRT certification required.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Reviews each requisition prior to the examination to ensure all pertinent information is available.
• Obtains and records all required medical history from patient.
• Prepares and positions patients for each required view.
• Performs radiologic examination with a high standard of accuracy.
