Qualifications

• Strong understanding of physics, anatomy and physiology; good communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation therapy per prescription and oncologist instructions.
• Confirm informed consent and verify patient identity before treatment.
• Check calculations prior to treatment and ensure correct dose daily.
• Position patient accurately and ensure comfort during sessions.
• Maintain safety, records, and equipment readiness; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist in immobilization, calibration, and quality assurance procedures as needed.
