Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Brattleboro, VT. You will join a team-focused environment with a strong rehab emphasis and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy in sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team-based environment.
• Possess a current PTA license or license-eligible to practice in Vermont.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team.
• Maintain licensure and eligibility to practice in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and use of electronic documentation systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and care reporting.
