Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center seeks a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The PTA will assist the PT with therapies aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and promoting functional activity for geriatric residents.

Applicants must hold an active PTA license in the state of practice and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently, with a passion for geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice.
• Per diem availability to fit facility schedules.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with therapies designed to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Support functional activities to enhance overall wellness of residents.
